Benchmarking

Streamline your Compliance Strategy

New York City’s Benchmarking Law (LL84) requires buildings to measure and report energy and water usage annually. While this is often treated as a checkbox exercise, benchmarking data can be valuable for tracking performance and aligning with capital upgrades. It should also be integrated with the building’s LL97 compliance strategy.

Maximize your Energy Grade

A building’s annual energy grade—publicly posted at the entrance—is determined by its benchmarking data. Many buildings can improve their grades with accurate reporting and the right strategies. RKB manages the full process, from setting up reporting tools to correctly accounting for square footage by space usage type. Our goal is to help you achieve the highest possible energy grade within the legal guidelines.
