Local Law Compliance

New York City (and New Jersey / surrounding areas) continue to introduce new legislation pushing buildings to manage their energy consumption, on-site fossil fuel use, and to report on their building's energy performance.

With these new mandates come opportunities to get the most benefits out of your compliance. Engaging a qualified engineering firm or Registered Design Professional (RDP) will ensure that they provide you with valuable insights from the compliance process.  As changes to the building(s) is required, they will also ensure that owners take advantage of available State and utility funding to reduce the out-of-pocket cost of projects.

Separate from the compliance package required by NYC DOB, the RKB team will meet with owners to review the building performance periodically to provide insights to help guide the owner's use of capital. This is included with RKB's compliance services so there is no need to utilize complex software packages with high annual subscription costs.
